Optical Terms and Conditions

  1. Order Confirmation and Payment
    Once your optical registration form is submitted and payment has been made, your order is considered confirmed. You will receive an email confirming the details of your order, including the prescription details you provided. Please ensure all information is accurate before submitting, as this will be used to create your eyewear.
  2. Warranty Returns, Exchanges and Refund Policy
    Due to the custom nature of prescription eyewear, once an order is placed and payment is received, the order cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged unless the following conditions are met:
  • Damaged or Defective Items: If the Frames or lenses are damaged or manufacturing defects are found upon receipt, please contact us immediately at optical@superfine.co.za within 7 days of receiving the product. We will arrange a replacement or refund depending on the circumstances.
  • Lens Warranty: Our lens coatings carry a 24month warranty for manufacturing defects that are not caused by normal wear and tear, improper use, or accidents.
  • Frame Warranty: Our frames carry a 12moth manufactures warranty for manufacturing defects.
  • Incorrect Prescription: If the prescription provided does not match the order (e.g., incorrect prescription made by our team), please contact us at optical@superfine.co.za within 7 days so we can correct the issue.

Please note that customer error in submitting the prescription or providing incorrect details will not qualify for a return, refund, or exchange.

  1. Responsibility for Payment
    You, the customer, are responsible for paying the full amount of the order. This includes the total cost of the eyewear, lenses, any applicable taxes, and shipping fees. By submitting your order and making payment, you acknowledge and agree to pay the full amount owed.
  2. Prescription Accuracy
    It is your responsibility to provide accurate and up-to-date prescription information. We are not responsible for any errors that result from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer. If you are unsure about any details of your prescription, we recommend consulting with an eye care professional before placing your order.
  3. Changes to Orders
    Once an order has been confirmed and payment has been processed, we are unable to make changes to the order, including prescription details, style choices, or shipping address. Please review your order carefully before submitting.
  4. Delivery Times
    We aim to fulfil and ship your order as quickly as possible, but delivery times may vary based on prescription complexity, product availability, and shipping conditions. We are not responsible for any delays caused by external factors beyond our control.
